how could i be the mother of a thirty old???......

and how could someone so incredibly beautiful be something that i created??
i am in total awe of her. she is just as sweet and wonderful as she is beautiful.  she is a hard worker, a college student and a fantastic big sister and daughter.
she is a great wife and homemaker.
and she is a fantastic mama...

her girls, my beautiful granddaughters, are the light of my life...
one, the oldest is just like her.....sweet, sensitive and the image of her mama.
she is smart, loving and generous.
and she exudes sweetness....
and the other, the youngest is the polar opposite....sassy, fearless and one tough cookie....
she is also smart, loving and generous.
(and she just oozes sass, doesn't she?)
this picture completely describes their personalities.....
happy birthday, shannon my love.....
(sorry this is two days late!!)
xoxo, mama

the graduate.....

our son-in-law jason graduated from northwood university yesterday with his bachelors degree in business.  we are very proud of all of his hard work and for working so hard to better his life for our daughter and granddaughters.
the ceremony was long. and it was hot in that auditorium. very hot.
and tessa is being weaned from her pacifier.  she still has some oral issues so now she bites her nails when she gets tired.  poor baby.
thank goodness for the iphone.  perfect for short little attention spans...
the happy family.  boy, she is really missing that pacifier.
scarlett really looks like her mama. and could tess look any more like her father???
a kiss can cure that, can't it..
notice daddy holding that hand down so i can get a picture without her fingers in her mouth....  :)

they look good in that mortarboard...
that's right buddy, get used to having a hat like that on....you will wear one someday, too!!
you think he's happy?   you bet he is...
