wow, where have i been???....

i can't believe that it's been almost a week since i posted.  it has been a kind of busy week for me and the next few are going to be busy too.

will be inducted into the honor society at school tomorrow night.  i will be sure to bring my camera and get pictures of that...(good job, buddy)

i have also been working on a few furniture projects recently.

cute little table

is the latest piece.  i just need to get knobs for it.  i think i'll go with a cute pink glass knob.  

my friend lisa who made me my first sale with this

is having me do a few more pieces for her that we have been scouring craigslist for and picking up.   

this is currently what i have been working on for her...

she got these tables off of craigslist and wants to use them as nightstands. they were a little too low so i am adding legs to them so they fit better at the bedside.

the one on the right is the original table size. the one on the left shows how it looks after i added legs to raise it up. they will look better, this is mid-stage...

i'm going to distress it and tried it out on the drawer.  

scarlett had her second soccer game and she loves it....

she's never played before and needs to work on her aggression skills.  she is just too nice (or afraid that she is going to be knocked on her butt).

but i see improvement from the first game to the second one.

how typical is this picture?.....everyone totally paying attention to the game in front of them...  :D

champ has had his issues this week too....

we came home to this after the soccer game.
